In recognition of principled public service, constitutional values, and enlightened civic engagement, this profile outlines the professional, academic, and political journey of I, Mohammad Fayas, born on 7 October 1985 in Hydernagar.

My academic progression reflects a sustained commitment to intellectual rigour and institutional learning. I completed my schooling at The King’s School (2000–2001), where scholastic discipline and character development were firmly instilled.

I pursued advanced studies (degree) in commerce at the Indian Institute of Commerce, Delhi University (2009), gaining a comprehensive grounding in economics, organisational management, and administrative frameworks. This foundation was further strengthened through a BA (Bachelor of Arts) at Dr B. R. Ambedkar University (2011–2014), which cultivated in me a refined understanding of governance, public policy, and democratic institutions.

Demonstrating an enduring commitment to lifelong learning and adaptive leadership, I completed my Intermediate education at Raidurgam Government Junior College (2022–2024). I am presently pursuing the BA LLB programme at Anantha Law College, Kukatpally, now in the second year.

My political orientation is deeply rooted in legacy. My forefathers were long-standing proponents of the Indian National Congress, instilling within me an enduring ideological alignment with social justice, inclusive governance, and democratic pluralism. Between 2013 and 2023, I was associated with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), during which period I acquired substantive experience in grassroots organisation, public mobilisation, and constituency-level engagement.

In March 2023, acting upon the leadership call of Shri Revanth Reddy and under the guidance of Shri Jagadishwar Goud, the Congress Party’s MLA candidate from Serilingampally, I formally rejoined the Indian National Congress. This transition represented a principled realignment with the ideological foundations of my lineage. It reaffirmed my confidence in the Congress Party’s historic commitment to constitutional values, social equity, and the empowerment of marginalised communities.

Following my re-entry into the Congress Party in 2023, I was entrusted with expanded organisational responsibilities. In 2024, I was appointed General Secretary, Hydernagar Division, contributing actively to cadre consolidation, grassroots strengthening, and public outreach initiatives. In recognition of my sustained advocacy for labour welfare and working-class rights, I was further appointed in 2025 as Division Labour Cell President, focusing on labour rights, social protection, and dignified livelihoods.

Beyond formal political assignments, my commitment to societal advancement is institutionally expressed through my leadership of the Khalid bin Walid Foundation. Under my stewardship, the Foundation has advanced initiatives centred on humanitarian assistance, community development, and inclusive social empowerment.

Mohammad Fayas was born on 7 October 1985 in Hydernagar, a locality shaped by communal harmony and a strong civic ethos. His early upbringing unfolded within an environment grounded in principled values and social responsibility, quietly yet decisively shaping his character, worldview, and sense of public duty from a formative age.

His formative years were enriched by the sagacious guidance of his parents. His father, Mohammad Pasha, was widely regarded for his humanitarian disposition and unwavering commitment to assisting those in need within the community. This enduring spirit of service, marked by compassion and civic-mindedness, found natural continuity in his son, informing an ethic of empathy and social engagement. He remains equally guided by the enduring legacy of his late mother, Sayeeda Begum, whose moral strength and steadfast devotion to family and community instilled values of resilience, integrity, and social conscience.

The academic and developmental trajectory of Mohammad Fayas is marked by sustained intellectual engagement, disciplined scholarship, and a consistent inclination toward mentorship and collective advancement. His schooling was undertaken at The King’s School (2000–2001).

Mohammad Fayas serves as the President of the Khalid Bin Walid Foundation in 2022-2025 , an institution committed to advancing social equity and extending structured support to individuals and communities in need. Under his stewardship, the Foundation has emerged as a purposeful platform for service, guided by principles of compassion, responsibility, and inclusive development.

Following his election as President, the Foundation’s outreach and impact expanded significantly through initiatives directed toward educational assistance and student welfare. Particular emphasis has been placed on supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds by facilitating access to essential resources, mentorship, and academic encouragement, thereby enabling pathways for personal growth and long-term
empowerment.

Civic Engagement and Organisational Service with BRS under CM KCR (2013–2023)

Driven by a longstanding ethos of service and civic responsibility, his engagement with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) from 2013 to 2023 represented a decade of sustained grassroots participation and public-facing work. This phase of his political journey was defined by close involvement in community outreach programmes, welfare facilitation, and constituency-level coordination aimed at strengthening public trust in governance mechanisms. Operating within the organisational framework of BRS, he actively supported initiatives designed to improve access to government services, amplify citizen concerns, and encourage participatory governance.

His contributions were aligned with the broader developmental vision articulated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri K. Chandrashekar Rao, whose leadership emphasised state-building, social security, and infrastructural transformation. Concurrently, the strategic guidance of BRS Working President Shri K. T. Strategic Re-association with Congress on the Call of Shri A. Revanth Reddy

In March 2023, Mohammad Fayas made a decisive and values-driven return to the Indian National Congress on the call and in the presence of Shri A. Revanth Reddy, reflecting a deep alignment with the party’s renewed leadership, reform-oriented direction, and commitment to people-centric governance. This transition was guided by a clear conviction that effective public service is best delivered through disciplined organisation, ethical leadership, and direct engagement with citizens—principles strongly embodied by the Congress under Shri Revanth Reddy’s stewardship.

His presence on the ground ensured consistency in messaging, disciplined execution of campaign strategies, and effective engagement with diverse community stakeholders – all aligned with the goal of making Shri Jagadishwar Goud the MLA and serving the people under his leadership.
