I, Koppirala Shailasree w/o Shri. Rakesh Bandari, born on 13 May 1990 in the vibrant town of Hanamkonda, daughter of Shri Koppirala Krishna and Smt. Koppirala Aruna, greet you with profound respect and a heart filled with gratitude. Raised in a family rooted in rural values, I learned early the importance of integrity, empathy, and standing firmly for what is right.

My academic journey—from Govt. High School to postgraduate degrees in MBA and M.Com.—equipped me with knowledge, but it was my experiences as a journalist that ignited my passion to amplify the voices of the unheard. In 2024, inspired by the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the party’s commitment to cultural resurgence and inclusive development, I joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Since then, as Warangal 64th Division Leader, I have dedicated myself to strengthening the organisation at the grassroots, raising critical local issues, and serving the people with sincerity. From leading protests against the hazardous dumping yard in Madikonda and Rampur to participating in organisational workshops and central ministers’ visits for developmental projects, my efforts have been guided by one principle: the welfare of every citizen must come first.

Early Beginnings and Family Background
Smt. Koppirala Shailasree, a dynamic leader was born on 13 May 1990 in Hanamkonda, a bustling town in the Warangal District of Telangana. She is the daughter of Shri Koppirala Krishna and Smt. Koppirala Aruna, who belongs to a traditional rural family. Growing up in an environment that valued community ties, humility, and social harmony, she developed a deep-rooted sense of responsibility toward society from an early age.

Smt. Koppirala Shailasree married to Shri Rakesh Bandari in 2013 serves as Project Lead in a prominent IT company, bringing professional excellence and stability to their partnership. His steadfast support has been an invaluable pillar throughout her journey in education, journalism, and public service, enabling her to pursue leadership roles with unwavering focus and determination.

Educational Voyage & Academic Journey
Koppirala Shailasree completed her Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 2005 from Govt. High School in Somidi Kazipet, establishing a firm academic base during her formative years. She pursued her Intermediate education at Sri Nalanda Junior College, Nakkalaguuta, Hanamkonda in 2007, where she deepened her knowledge and prepared for higher studies.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in 2010 from Master Ji Degree College, Hunter Road, Hanamkonda, further strengthening her academic credentials. She completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from St. Joseph PG College, Rampur, in 2012, equipping herself with advanced management and strategic skills.

In 2014, she obtained her Master of Commerce (M.Com.) from New Science PG College, Hunter Road, Hanamkonda, rounding off her postgraduate education with a focus on commerce and finance. Her consistent academic progression reflects her discipline, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning.

Smt. Koppirala Shailasree carved a dynamic career in 2021 as a prominent News Presenter on a leading television channel, where she emerged as a commanding on-screen presence delivering impactful and authoritative news with clarity and poise.

Far beyond conventional anchoring, she fearlessly undertook a wide spectrum of high-profile responsibilities, including conducting incisive interviews with top politicians, celebrities, and thought leaders, while fearlessly covering live events and breaking stories with unflinching professionalism.

Passion for Service and Politics
From a young age, Koppirala Shailasree harboured a deep-seated interest in serving the people and gained a keen understanding of the intricacies of politics. Her foray into the media industry as a journalist marked the beginning of her professional career. Notably, one of her motivations for entering the media sphere was actively participating in politics and becoming a familiar face endorsing positive change.

Initial Alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) -2024

Koppirala Shailasree began her political journey in 2024 by joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), marking her formal entry into public life in the presence of Hanamkonda District BJP President, Smt. Rao Padma. Inspired by the leadership and vision of senior national leaders, her alignment with the party established a strong ideological and organisational foundation. This early association paved the way for her emergence into key leadership roles, shaping her growing contributions within the party’s framework and her commitment to community-driven governance.

Koppirala Shailasree’s commitment and contributions to the party did not go unnoticed. The BJP, acknowledging her work and positive image, entrusted her with a significant responsibility – enhancing the party’s presence in the constituency.

Elevation to Warangal 64th Division Leadership
Koppirala Shailasree has been elevated to the prestigious position of Warangal 64th Division Leader in the Bharatiya Janata Party. This appointment reflects the party’s strong confidence in her organisational capabilities, grassroots connections, and unwavering dedication to public service. In her new role, she is tasked with strengthening the BJP’s presence, mobilising karyakartas, and advancing the party’s vision across the division.

Community Advocacy and Environmental Initiatives of Smt. Koppirala Shailasree

• Active Participation in Protests Against Rampur Dump Yard
  Smt. Koppirala Shailasree consistently joined and supported large-scale public protests demanding the immediate removal of the hazardous dump yard in Rampur village.
• Massive Protest for Better Conditions at Warangal MGM Hospital

BJP Greater Warangal 64th Division leader Smt. Koppirala Shailasree actively participated in a large-scale protest organised under the leadership of Warangal District BJP President Shri Ganta Ravi Kumar, demanding urgent improvements in infrastructure, medical facilities, and patient care at MGM Hospital, Warangal.

• Filing Petition in PrajaVani and Submission to District Collector
  Shailasree formally filed a detailed petition through the PrajaVani platform and submitted it to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), clearly outlining the adverse effects of the Rampur dump yard on villagers. She also personally presented a comprehensive representation to the District Collector, urging swift administrative action and relocation of the dumping site to safeguard public health.
• Participation in Public Rally
  Koppirala Shailasree actively participated in a powerful public rally organised to demand the elimination of the Rampur dump yard and the protection of residents. The rally served as a strong collective voice, drawing large participation from villagers and creating pressure on the administration to address the long-standing grievance.
• Delegation to Praja Bhavan for Dumping Yard Removal

Residents of Madikonda and Rampur villages, accompanied by local leaders, presented a detailed complaint petition during the Prajavani public grievance redressal programme at Praja Bhavan, Hyderabad, demanding the immediate closure and relocation of the hazardous dumping yard. The petition was formally submitted by Smt. Koppirala Shailasree, a prominent leader from Warangal’s 64th Division. The Prajavani in-charge, Dr Chenna Reddy, Vice Chairman of the Telangana State Planning Board, acknowledged the gravity of the issue and promptly contacted the Hanumakonda District Collector and the GWMC Commissioner for an urgent explanation. The GWMC Commissioner informed that steps were underway to relocate the dumping yard. Dr Chenna Reddy further emphasised to the Collector the severe impact on residents, including air and water pollution, skin diseases, and respiratory illnesses, to which the Collector assured immediate action.

• BJP Organizational Workshop for District and Mandal Presidents
  As part of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s strategic restructuring in the erstwhile Warangal, Khammam, and Suryapet districts, a preparatory workshop was held under the chairmanship of Warangal District President Shri Ganta Ravi Kumar to finalise arrangements for a two-day intensive training camp for district and mandal presidents, scheduled at Vagdevi Engineering College in Bollikunta. BJP leader Smt. Koppirala Shailasree actively participated in the deliberations, contributing to the planning and coordination efforts for the upcoming programme.
• Central Ministers Inspect Railway Coach Factory Construction in Ayodhyapuram Village
  In Ayodhyapuram village of Greater Warangal’s 45th Division under Wardhannapet constituency, Union Ministers Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw (Railways, Communications, Electronics & IT) and Shri G. Kishan Reddy (Coal & Mines), accompanied by BJP State President Shri Ramachandra Rao and former Wardhannapet MLA Shri Aroori Ramesh, visited to review the progress of the central government-supported railway coach factory construction. Warangal 64th Division leader Smt. Koppirala Shailasree actively participated in the subsequent programme following the inspection.
• Madikonda Dumping Yard Protest Turns into Mass Movement
  The persistent dumping yard in Madikonda and adjoining areas has become a severe public health hazard and environmental curse, triggering widespread public outrage that has now evolved into a powerful, sustained movement demanding its immediate and permanent removal. Despite repeated appeals, the government and local authorities have failed to take any concrete action. In response, the Madikonda village ad hoc committee, together with prominent local BJP leader Smt. Shailasree Koppirala launched an impactful awareness campaign by distributing auto stickers to every vehicle across the region, ensuring the issue reaches every household and citizen.
