Sodi Jyothi

Sodi Jyothi is the Sarpanch of Gowravaram village. She was born on 10-06-1992 to Sathyam and Venkatamma in Gannavaram village, Charla Mandal.

She studied SSC at AGHS school, Narsingpet in 2007 and completed Intermediate from Govt junior college, Charla in 2009.

In 2011, She completed DMLT(Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) from Sri Sai Nursing college, Vijayawada. Jyothi attained her Degree at Gouthami degree college, Charla Mandal, Kakatiya University in 2014. Jyothi married Suresh.

Jyothi elected as Sarpanch independently from Gowravaram village in 2019 and joined the Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS) party. She completed the K.Lakshmipuram-Gowravaram bridge with a Special initiative.

In 2020, Jyothi was elected as Vice President in the Dummugudem Sarpanches community. Bhadradri Kothagudem district Collector M.V Reddy congratulated Jyothi for being at the forefront of the Gowravaram Panchayat in the One Hundred Days Work Guarantee Scheme.

Recent Activities

Jyothi participated in many Social Activities. She distributed Essentials, Vegetables across the total Panchayat during COVID-19 lockdown. She provided food to the beggars during the COVID-19 lockdown time. Also provided masks, sanitizers.
She solved drainage, sewage problems as a part of the Swachh Bharath program.
She organized an Honors program for the Panchayat farmers. Jyothi has sought compensation for farmers who have suffered crop losses.
She distributed Bathukamma Sarees to the women.
She helped financially the women who are injured in the accident.
