Pilli Prabhakar Rao

Pilli Prabhakar Rao is an Indian Politician belonging to the Congress party. He is a well-known INC leader with extensive political experience. He currently holds the designation of Youth Congress Leader from Tenali Mandal, Guntur district.

Early Life&Education:

On 10th June 1990, Prabhakar Rao was born to the couple Kottaiah and Maniamma and was raised in Kolakaluru village.

In 2006, Prabhakar Rao obtained his Board of Secondary Education at Zilla Parishad high school, located in Kolakaluru village. He acquired his Intermediate at Sri Sai junior college, in 2008. In 2011, Prabhakar Rao graduated with a Degree from Sri Sai Junior&Degree college, Tenali.

Political Career of Prabhakar Rao:

Prabhakar Rao served and assisted those in need with the highest zeal and enthusiasm throughout his life. As a young boy, he volunteered his services to the public willingly. In the year 2014, Prabhakar Rao joined politics formally through the Indian National Congress(INC) party.

He has been an Active Member of the Congress Party since 2014. As soon as he joined the party, he established himself as a Public Leader by contributing to the party’s welfare initiatives. In honor of his efforts and hard work, party officials designated him as a Party Worker and a Social Worker, and he was acknowledged as a significant strategist for his role in effectively working as a party activist. 

He has associated with the NSUI. The National Students Union of India, the student wing of the Indian National Congress(INC or Congress), was established on 09 April 1971. The organization was founded by Indira Gandhi. By contributing to every initiative Prabhakar Rao was elevated to the designation Tenali Division NSUI Youth Congress Member from the Guntur district. He faithfully carries out his tasks in order to fulfill his obligations and responsibilities. Prabhakar Rao effectively served as Division Youth Congress Member from 2014-2018.

He was appointed and took charge as YSRCP Tenali Division Spokesperson in 2014. 

In 2016, Prabhakar Rao becomes the District Spokesperson of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. He continues to maintain the trust placed in him by the authorities.

Prabhakar Rao is an Ardent Supporter of our Former Amalapuram MP GV.Harsha Kumar. He respects his views and follows in his footsteps. He entered into Politics by taking Former MP GV.Harsha Kumar as his Inspiration. Prabhakar Rao working as GV.Harsha Kumar’s Personal Assistant since 2018.

Party Activities:

• In 2018, Youth Congress leader Prabhakar Rao participated and fought for the SC and ST people on behalf of Guntur district under the leadership of former MP Harsha Kumar against the Telugu Desam government on the different prices for the SC, ST, and minority lands.
• In August 2019, Youth Congress leader Prabhakar Rao participated in a discussion program given by former MP Ashok Kumar that the rights given to us by the constitution are not implemented, we have to implement them ourselves and fight for them.
  
• Prabhakar Rao played a key role in Jodo Yatra, every party meeting conducted in Vijayawada.
• Prabhakar used to bring Awareness about the party to the people by posting the party programs on social media from time to time.
• He took action against the unjustifiable things that were done to the students.
• He experienced a lot of struggle over student issues. Prabhakar Rao and other student leaders have set up protests to demand that Fee Reimbursement and Scholarships be given out right away. 
• Prabhakar Rao staged Dharnas and Rasta rokos to protest against the hike in mess charges by students. He has been posting photos related to dharnas on social media to make people aware.
• When Amaravati was the capital, Prabhakar and MP Harsh Kumar fought for the lands of SC and ST people and gave compensation for their lands.
• The people who recognized Prabhakar Rao’s ability to serve chose him as Youth Congress Leader in the belief he would continue his services.
  

Prabhakar Rao’s Effort During the Epidemic Corona:

• Prabhakar Rao rendered his service to the Kolakaluru people even during the corona which terrorized the whole country.
• He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.
• He donates rice bags, vegetables, and medicine to covid victims who are suffering from covid and cannot go out to fetch food.
• He also supported the poor financially by providing essential goods for those who could not find employment or food due to the lockdown.
• Provided Annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, and front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.
• Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.
• Prabhakar Rao put effort even during the Covid second wave. He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.
• Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and the effects of the virus. Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.
• The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
