K Nawthan Kumar (King of Kothagudem)

K Nawthan Kumar (King of Kothagudem) is an Indian Politician of the JSP and District President of Bhadradri Kothagudem in the State of Telangana.

Early Life and Education:

On December 3rd, 1983, Nawthan Kumar was born to a couple Mr. Jafnya and Mrs. Lilly and raised in the Bhadradri Kothagudem in the State of Telangana.

In 1999, Nawthan Kumar completed his Board of Secondary Education from Singareni High School, located at Kothagudem. He obtained his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 2001.

Professional Life:

Soon after accomplishing his education, Nawthan Kumar started his career by starting his own business, and he currently has his own business, Spicey Nawthan Restaurant, located at Vidya Nagar in Kothagudem. Ever since he started the profession, he has been simultaneously handling his family responsibilities.

A career in Politics:

Nawthan Kumar always had the utmost zeal and enthusiasm to serve and help people in need. As a young boy, he offered his services voluntarily to the public. He formally joined politics with the Community Party of India (CPI) in 2005. The Communist Party of India (CPI) is the oldest communist party in India and one of the eight national parties in the country.

In 2005, Nawthan Kumar joined the All India Youth Federation(AIYF) a nationwide youth organization of the Communist Party of India founded on 03rd May 1959. AIYF is affiliated with the World Federation of Democratic Youth.

From 2005 to 2013, he did a great job as the District President of the Khammam District, where he had been recognized as a public leader being served effectively.

In the year 2013, Nawthan Kumar switched from the CPI to the Indian National Congress (INC) in the presence of Renuka Chowdhury and N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, often called the Congress Party, to fulfill the political requirements of the people while also providing a specific service.

As a part of INC, he expresses a keen interest in and performs every activity as an Active Member by discharging his duties with a code of conduct and also for the recognition of the respective party.

In recognition of his continued service in 2014, the party not only promoted him to the position of Rahul Gandhi Yuvasena Youth from Janasena of Bhadradri Kothagudem but also increased his responsibilities to discharge his duties.

His continued commitment and genuine interest earned him the post of INC District President of  Bhadradri Kothagudem in Telangana in 2019. Since then he has served the welfare of society by doing his responsibilities appropriately and in accordance with the norms and regulations.

Nawthan Kumar switched from the INC to the Janasena Party (JSP). He did this because he was moved by the party’s founder, Tollywood actor Pawan Kaylan, and his desire to help people.

He exposed his leadership skills by serving as the Party Activist and working all the time for the welfare of humankind comprehensively. As a part of Janasena, Nawthan Kumar expressed a keen interest and performed every activity to recognize the respective party.

In 2019, he was contested and elected as a 5th Ward Member. During his term as the Ward Member, he became more active in politics and has constantly strived for the people’s welfare.

In 2020, he was elected as the Vice Sarpanch of Ramanjaneya Colony in Chunchupalle Mandal in the Bhadradri Kothagudem District of Telangana due to his continued commitment and genuine interest. Since then, he has contributed to the welfare of society by doing his tasks according to the norms and regulations.

He was elected as the JSP District President of Bhadradri Kothagudem in 2020 for his humble contribution to the progress and welfare of the people by providing services and meeting the needs of everyone who has approached him for assistance.

AS A TELANGANA ACTIVIST:

• Nawthan Kumar is a Telangana Activist from 2004-2014, he participated part in a number of social programs and rallies, including the Million March, bike rallies, and dharnas, in an attempt to create Telangana as a separate state from Andhra Pradesh in India.
• Nawthan Kumar organized and conducted a program by naming as “Thegisthene Telangana” program for a one-year period as a part of the Telangana Movement.
• He was active in the political movement known as the Telangana Agitation, which sought to establish Telangana as an independent state. The people of that region have been on an indefinite hunger strike because they want the Telangana safeguards put into place. This is a watershed moment for the Telangana movement.
• Nawthan Kumar was a fervent supporter of a separate state for Telangana, and he took part in the massive demonstration known as the Sakala Janula samme, in which the whole population participated in a strike.

Party Activities: 

• He was involved in student dharnas and fought for many issues, like fee reimbursement, meals for hostels, reservation seats, hostel facilities for poor students, student admissions, and essential things for hostel and college students.
• Nawthan Kumar set up and attended every Mandal level and Village level meeting at his own expense. He also gave speeches to young people and future leaders to encourage them.
• He took part in many social programs, like Rasta Roko, Bike Rallies, Dharnas for the recognition party, and village development activities.
• Nawthan Kumar protests and conducts dharnas against the government’s decisions against the people and demands justice for them.
• He fought for the immediate reduction of inflated petrol and diesel rates as the skyrocketing petrol and diesel costs would cause a lot of trouble for the common man.

Social Activities:

• Every year,  Nawthan Kumar visits orphan homes as it marks the birth anniversary of Tollywood Actor and Indian Politician Pawan Kalyan, and he delivers meals, fruits, and many more essential requirements for orphans.
• He expanded his efforts by supporting poor individuals and orphans who have been badly affected by the assassination of their families.
• He Participated in the Village development activities in the village like the laying of CC Roads, Digging of Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, clearance of Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• He resolved the problems of village developmental issues and was also involved in many Social service events like Haritha Haram, Clean, and Green, and Casting of Plants, and also participated in the Palle Pragathi program.
• Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development. He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare. He always raises his hands to serve the poor.
• He is fighting with the government to offer suitable jobs to the jobless, who are concerned about finding a good job even after graduating from college or university.

Pandemic Activities:

• He stepped forward to assist those in need who had been affected by the lockdown and distributed rice bags and vegetables to villagers, the needy, and municipality workers while adhering to the precautions.
• He apportioned masks, sanitizers, and food to the poor and contributed financially. An awareness program has been conducted to spread awareness about social distancing and precautionary measures to prevent the Corona epidemic.
• In order to keep the village safe, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village as part of the effort to end the corona epidemic.
• He worked all day (day and night) during the COVID period and looked after the people. He is constantly available, mainly to the poorest people in the zone.

Contested Position:

• During the period of elections in 2019, Nawthan Kumar contested for the position of ZPTC against Chunchupalle Mandal from the Janasena Party, but the contested position was defeated.
