Aruru Mahaboob Basha is an Indian Politician belonging to the YSRCP. He is the current Minority District President of Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.

Born&Education:

On 05th April 1982, Mahaboob Basha was born and raised in Hathibelagal village. 

In 1990, he obtained his 6th standard at Hathibelagal high school.

A career in Politics:

He always had the utmost zeal and enthusiasm to serve and help people in need. As a young boy, he offered his services voluntarily to the public. In 2010, He officially entered into Politics and started his Political Journey with the Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party(YSRCP).

He is a staunch supporter of our former Chief Minister, YS. Rajashekar Reddy, and our current Chief Minister, YS. Jagan Mohan Reddy. He respects their views and follows their practices. Mahaboob Basha joined politics and handled party responsibilities after being inspired by YS. Jagan Mohan Reddy. 

Mahaboob Basha established himself as a Public Leader as soon as he joined the party by contributing to the party’s welfare activities. In acknowledgment of his efforts and hard work, he was designated a Party Worker and a Social Worker by party officials. 

He became a Party Activist and took part in the “Gadapa Gadapa ki YSR” program, he made people aware of YSRCP schemes such as Jagananna Amma Vodi, Jagananna Chedodu, Jagananna Vidya Kanuka, Illa Pattalu, YSR Arogya scheme, YSR Bima, YSR Pension Kanuka, YSR Rythu Bharosa, YSR Sunna Vaddi Pathakam, YSR Vahana Mitra, etc. Mahaboob Basha made the Navaratnalu scheme available to everyone. He gave his contributions to Samaikyandhra Movement, for Special Status, and also took part in Y.S Jagan’s, and Y.S Sharmila’s Padayatra.

Mahaboob Basha played an Active Role in the Kurnool District High Court issue. 

The authorities appointed Mahaboob Basha as Minority District President of Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh inrecognition of his outstanding service and valuable contribution to the society.

Social Service:

  • Mahaboob Basha protests and conducts dharnas against the government’s decisions against the people and demands justice for them.
  • He has been an active participant in projects such as Palle Pragathi and Swachh Bharath.
  • He arranged a blood drive and a medical camp in the area, and he gave blood to those in need.
  • He provided financial assistance to the needy inhabitants of the village, as well as assistance in any other manner that was required.
  • Mahaboob Basha gave financial assistance to the underprivileged people in the hamlet and also contributed money to merit students for their further education.
  • He carried out village development tasks such as paving CC roads, digging borewells, installing street lights, clearing drainage systems, and solving water problems.
  • He advocated for the needy and the advancement of welfare. He is continuously raising his hand to help the underprivileged.
  • Mahaboob Basha demanded that the government issue notifications quickly and protect the unemployed from suicide.

Pandemic Activities:

  • Mahaboob Basha served the residents of Hathibelagal village even during the corona that scared the whole country.
  • He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.
  • He distributes rice bags, vegetables, and medication to covid sufferers who are unable to get out to acquire sustenance.
  • He also provided financial assistance to the impoverished by supplying needed commodities to people who could not obtain work or food due to the lockdown.
  • Provided annadhanam program to police, municipal, and front-line personnel who contributed significantly during the Corona crisis.
  • Conducted public awareness campaigns in Corona about maintaining physical distance and taking preventive steps to avoid the outbreak.
  • Mahaboob Basha put his effort to serve people even during the covid second wave.
  • He donated fruits and vegetables to local residents and those in need.
  • Awareness camps and lectures on the Covid-19 vaccination and the virus’s effects were held.
  • Organized public awareness campaigns on the measures that should be followed to avoid covid and said there was no need to worry.
  • The coronavirus-infected region has been designated a red zone, and individuals have been given appropriate safeguards and instructions.
