Godugu Venkatesh is the Founder and Chairman of Telangana Vidyarthi Vikasa Vedika in Rangareddy District, Telangana and an Independent Contested MLA in Munugodu Constituency, Rangareddy District, Telangana State.
Early Life and Education:
On the 25th of June 1989, Venkatesh was born to the couple Mr Godugu Parvathalu and Mrs Godugu Parvathamma at Konapur of Rangareddy District in the Indian State of Telangana.
In 2005, He obtained his Secondary Board of Education from Viveka Vidhya Bharathi High School located at Amangal, Ranga Reddy. He completed his Intermediate course at Kadireddy Narayana Reddy Junior College and placed at Amangal in 2007.
Later in the year 2010, he graduated with a degree from Government Degree College in Hyderabad and Venkatesh extended his education by acquiring his Post Graduation from Government Degree and PG College at Hyderabad in Telangana and accomplished it in 2012.
Career in Social Life:
Venkatesh Beginning at a young age, he had a passion for working in the public service. He has been accustomed to service since childhood. He also conducted many service programs while continuing his studies.
He explained that competence consists of six core values that we adhere to as we undertake our role, along with a commitment to service, social justice, the dignity and worth of the individual, and the importance and integrity of human relationships. He started his life as a social worker and wanted his services to be effective for the people.
As a Social Activist, he has participated in a variety of welfare and development initiatives as well as public awareness programs for the betterment of society’s people.
Career in Telangana Vidyarthi Vikasa Vedika:
Venkatesh founded Telangana Vidyarthi Vikasa Vedika 8 years ago with the idea of supporting students while doing social service.
Through this institution, he is working hard to provide students with appropriate education and make them reach higher heights. He conducted many dharnas, initiations and rallies for the students.
In the villages, the uneducated people were given education by organizing night schools to make them effective in some way.
He organized the Telangana Martyrs Self Respect Sabha under Telangana Vidyarthi Vikasa Vedika.
He held Dharnas were organized for solving the problems of students and teachers and helped to solve their problems.
He primarily focused on problems affecting students, such as fee reimbursement and scholarship disbursements, and worked effectively to ensure that scholarships were granted to students as soon as possible.
He fought for the tribals and helped them access education, healthcare, government schemes, drinking water, and village development, all from the government.
Protests were held against the attacks on women, murders, murder rituals, social violence and domestic violence. And participated in the struggle for women’s emancipation.
Venkatesh Telangana Vidyarthi Vikasa Vedika organization organized an uncompromising struggle against the corporate educational institutions and launched an inter-board siege.
Keeping in view the difficulties faced by students and parents due to corporate and educational institutions, extensive publicity campaigns were organized with the demand to abolish corporate and educational institutions, and the parents of the students were made aware.
Telangana Movement:
Osmania University students supported the movement which spread rapidly across Telangana. Meetings, conferences, seminars and brainstorming sessions were held to support the achievement of Telangana. Along with the students, Venkatesh also supported the special Telangana struggle.
Along with Venkatesh and students, non-gazetted officers, lawyers, doctors and almost all sections of civil society participated in the Telangana struggle under the leadership of Telangana Vidyarthi Vikasa Vedika.
in the face of processions, sit-ins, hunger strikes, gheraos, burning of buses, rail stops, street fights and arrests by agitators, lathi charges, tear gas firing, imposition of Section 144, curfews, barricades, firing from police forces, He participated in the struggle of the Telangana movement and He became a part of Telangana Sadhana.
Career in Politics:
He is a natural leader. His strength in wisdom and compassion allows him to think about a systems perspective. He started his political career independently to provide equality and social justice, understanding that the purpose of life is to serve on behalf of others.
He entered politics and worked to correct the injustices in his Village and Mandal and to help the poor and the underprivileged.
Contested Position:
Venkatesh Contested as a MLA as an independent candidate in Munugodu by-elections saying that Munugodu region should move towards the development path.
He has strengthened the tractor plows as his party’s symbol saying that there should be a farmer’s kingdom.
Services Rendered by Venkatesh:
- Venkatesh himself went door-to-door and public to display his party symbol and organize awareness programs about the party.
- To further strengthen the party’s image as an independent candidate, he organizes campaign meetings, rallies and encourages the youth in rural and Mandal areas.
- The right to vote is precious to every human being. He raised awareness among the people that vote should not be sold and everyone should use their vote.
- Venkatesh donated blood to the extreme people in the Blood Donation Camp organized at Amangal of Telangana State.
- Venkatesh said that the government should solve the problems of the farmers as per the promises made by the government in the special meeting organized in his constituency, especially the purchase of rabi paddy should be accelerated and completed on a war footing. The farmers, who suffered due to untimely rains, wanted to buy the discolored grain and give justice to the farmers.
- In order to help disadvantaged children further their education, he provides them with books, pencils, and clothing every year. He also provides them with financial assistance to ensure that they have a bright future.
- He fought about the Ranga Reddy hostel issues.
- Dharnas and protests were held in unity movements.
- By notifying the issues in the village, he solved many problems and gave Pensions like -Widow Pension,old-age pensions, Handicapped Pension, and also dispensed White Ration Cards in the village.
- Many service activities were organized such as blankets for beggars, clothing for the destitute, and meals for orphaned children, and fights over the problems of the people, for the welfare of the people.
Covid-19 Pandemic Services:
- Venkatesh distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
- Venkatesh came forward with humanity to help those in dire straits during the corona and provide financial assistance to those affected by the lock down.
- He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
- To spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic of Corona, an awareness program has been conducted.
- As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for the safety of the village.
- He looked after the people and was constantly available mainly to the poorest people in the zone.
- He rushed to the hospital with the corona-affected people and admitted them by consulting the doctor.
