Ragula Kanakaiah

Ragula Kanakaiah is an Indian Politician from the Southern Indian state of Telangana. He serves as the District SC Cell Vice President of Siddipet District from the Congress Party.

Early Life:

On the 20th of April 1988, Kanakaiah was born to the couple Mr. Ragula Chandraiah and Mrs. Ragula Allavva and resided at Nangnoor Village in Siddipet District in the Indian State of Telangana.

He studied at the Board Secondary School Education in Zilla Parishad High School, located at Nangnoor, in 2003.

A Career in Politics:

Kanakaiah got a house from the Congress government through the Indiramma house scheme and is currently living in that house with his family.

He was indebted to the help of the then Congress government to Kanakaiah’s family. With that desire, he started his political career in 2001 through the Congress Party.

After joining the Indian National Congress Party (INC), he started serving the people as a Party Activist.

Kanakaiah continues to serve the people and work for the development of the village. The village and Mandal people elected him as Mandal Convener for his helpfulness.

In 2021 he was selected as a District SC Cell Vice President.

He vowed that as the District SC Cell Vice President, he would always stand by the people of the village and town, and he would assist them and help the party’s development. He always strived to uphold the promise he made.

Party and Welfare Activities:

• Commemorating the sacrifices of the martyrs who constantly fought for the country and brought freedom to the government, anniversary celebrations were held for them. He had grandly celebrated the party’s foundation day with the party and village members. And he Organized food donation programs.
• He fought with the party members in the initiation for tribal rights.
• Reduce the prices of petrol, diesel, and gas, provide the unemployed jobs and employment opportunities to all, abolish the black agricultural laws, and stop the sale of government enterprises; Kanakaiah took an active part in the Bharat Bandh, which was given by the Congress party on a large scale for the country’s people and became a part of the party’s struggle.
• He cleaned the dirty drains of the village, removed the garbage, repaired the roads, and removed the roadsides and unnecessary trees.
• And they have worked for many village development programs like repairing electric lines in the village, planting trees, laying cc roads, filling potholes, and cleaning drains.
• They fought the filled ponds through an Ettipothala scheme and solved the problems of the farmers.
• During the general election season, he campaigned as the party’s full-time leader, tirelessly assisting the incumbent and recruiting more members to ensure the party’s success.
• He participates in all party meetings, dharnas, rallies, rastra rokos, and initiations.
• When Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy was the Chief Minister, a large-scale Racha Banda program was organized. There were many fights and protests in this program; Kanakaiah participated in this program along with party members.
• Dharna was held for 15 days saying that Siddipet district should not be merged with Husnabad.

Social Activities:

• He is working hard to educate the ignorant people by enrolling the helpless students in the school and providing them with a good education.
• Kanakaiah would provide necessities like rice and pulses to the family if any poor people in his village died.
• He helps educate Dalit women about their development and encourages them to avail government schemes by employing disadvantaged women.
• Kanakaiah provides pensions to older people, enrolls orphans in school, gives employment to helpless people, and helps disabled people.
• He gave books, pens, and bags to the students of his village.
• He encourages low-income families to a healthy and prosperous society and provides them with adequate assistance.
• Kanakaiah leads the Youth in education, sports, social activities, and welfare programs.

Services rendered during the Pandemic:

• He provided financial and humanitarian support to those impacted by the lockdown during Corona’s first and second waves. During the crisis, and responded with compassion, aiding people in distress and offering further assistance to those harmed by the locking down.
• Kanakaiah assisted people affected by the lockdown by giving vegetables and fruits to villages, the homeless, and Municipality employees while following the procedures in place and distributing Covid Kits who were afflicted with the appropriate sickness while in their home quarantine.
• An awareness demonstration was performed to raise awareness about social distancing and the need to take precautionary steps to eliminate the Corona Epidemic.
• When the coronavirus was finally exterminated, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed across the whole village to ensure that the villagers were not exposed to any harmful effects.
• The Covid Immunization Drive was organized in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea to increase awareness among the general population about the need to acquire a free corona vaccination.
