I am Akula Sathyanarayana, widely known as Chittibabu, and I have dedicated my life to serving the people of Andole-Jogipet with unwavering commitment and integrity. Born and raised in Jogipet, I was inspired from an early age to stand for justice, public welfare, and the upliftment of society. My journey in public life began with a deep passion for addressing the concerns of ordinary citizens and working tirelessly for their betterment.
Through my years in politics, I have had the privilege of serving in various responsible positions, always striving to uphold the trust placed in me by the people. As a representative of the Indian National Congress Party, I remain committed to transparent governance, inclusive development, and social justice. Every milestone in my political career reflects my determination to strengthen civic infrastructure, improve public services, and empower the underprivileged.
My mission has always been to transform leadership into meaningful action that benefits every family in our community. From welfare initiatives to development programs, I continue to work relentlessly to create a stronger, healthier, and progressive municipality. Early Life and Educational Background

Akula Sathyanarayana, popularly known as Chittibabu, was born on 26 January 1976 in Jogipet, the district headquarters of Andole, to Shri Anjaiah and Smt. Yadamma. Raised in a family rooted in strong moral values and social responsibility, he developed a disciplined and service-oriented outlook from an early age. His upbringing in Jogipet played a vital role in shaping his commitment toward community welfare and public service.

He completed his Secondary Board of Education during 1990–1991 at ZP High School, Jogipet, where he laid the academic foundation for his future endeavors. In 1993, he pursued and successfully completed his Industrial Training Institute (ITI) education in Sangareddy, gaining valuable technical knowledge and practical skills. Further strengthening his academic profile, Sathyanarayana Garu earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in HPP (History, Public Administration, and Political Science), which enriched his understanding of governance, administration, and political systems, preparing him for a purposeful career in public life.

Political Career and Public Leadership 

Akula Sathyanarayana, fondly known as Chittibabu, demonstrated a strong inclination toward leadership and public service from a very young age. Even during his student years, he was known for standing in the forefront to defend justice, support the underprivileged, and serve as a dependable companion to those in need. His early passion for social responsibility naturally paved the way for his entry into active politics.

In 1997, inspired by the vision of public service and under the leadership of K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), who was then serving as Transport Minister, Sathyanarayana Garu began his formal political journey by joining the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). His dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment to grassroots development quickly earned him recognition within the party.

In 1998, he was appointed as the Telugu Yuvatha Andole Mandal President, a role in which he worked tirelessly for youth empowerment, organizational strengthening, and public welfare. Owing to his exceptional leadership and outstanding performance, he was reappointed to the same post for three consecutive terms, reflecting the trust and confidence placed in him by the party leadership.

From 2001 to 2006, Sathyanarayana Garu served as the Ward Member of Jogipet Major Grama Panchayat. During this tenure, he gained immense admiration from the public for his people-oriented approach, accessibility, and unwavering dedication to addressing local civic concerns. His sincere efforts in promoting welfare and development made him a respected grassroots leader.

In 2006, he contested for the prestigious position of MPTC and secured victory with a decisive majority. Until 2011, he discharged his responsibilities with diligence, integrity, and strategic foresight, effectively implementing party initiatives and contributing to local governance with remarkable efficiency.

In 2011, seeking a broader platform to continue his service to the people, Sathyanarayana Garu resigned from TDP and joined the Indian National Congress (INC) under the guidance of former Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha. As a committed Congress Party activist, he actively participated in every party program and worked relentlessly for village development and public welfare.

In 2014, when the Grama Panchayat was upgraded into a Municipal Council, he contested for the position of Municipal Councillor from the INC Party. Though he narrowly lost the election by a margin of just 40 votes, this setback did not deter his spirit of service. Instead, it strengthened his resolve to continue working for the people with even greater determination.

His persistent dedication and selfless public service led to his election as the Municipal Councillor of the 17th Division of Andole-Jogipet Municipality in 2019. In this role, he made significant contributions to civic development, efficiently carrying out his duties in accordance with party principles and public expectations.

In 2026, Sathyanarayana Garu achieved another major milestone in his political journey by securing a remarkable victory in the municipal elections as the candidate of the Indian National Congress Party. This resounding success reflected the unwavering trust, affection, and confidence reposed in him by the people of Andole-Jogipet. Following this victory, he rose to the distinguished office of Vice Chairman of Andole-Jogipet Municipality, further strengthening his stature as an influential and respected regional leader.

Throughout his political career, from his first step into public life to the present day, Akula Sathyanarayana Garu has remained steadfast in his mission to serve society. CAREER IN PROFESSION

On the one hand, while fulfilling his political responsibilities, concurrently started his professional career by looking over all the Bakery for 3 years and had around 10 years of work experience in Star Cable.

Recent Activities

• He organized the blood camp and medical camp in the village and donated the blood for the needy people. He financially assisted the poor people in the village and helped them in all possible ways.
• He distributed fruits and medicines to the village’s unhealthy students and needy people.
• Conducted Annadhanam Program, which is served and satisfied many hungry people in his village.
• Money was donated to the families of the poor during the wedding to support their families financially. Sathyanarayana assisted the death-affected family financially of Rupees 5000-10000 for the funeral.
• If anyone in the village encounters any problem, No matter whatever the situation is, he will be at the forefront of the problem. He will assist those who come to him for help and provide the essential things that they require.
• At every festival, He wishes the people by distributing the festival-related items to the people.

Development Activities:

• He Participated in the Village development activities in the village like laying of CC Roads,
  -Digging of 7 Borewells with his own money at the main places in the village
  -Putting up Street Lights and checking them regularly
  -Clearance of Drainage systems once a week
  -Fittings of 5 CC Cameras under the Police Control and Solving water Problems.
• Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development. He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare. He always raises his hands to serve the poor.
• Every Year he celebrates Freedom Fighters Birth anniversaries and distributes food packets to the villagers and also conducts Cultural and Traditional programs in the village.
• He accompanied many Mandal level party meetings in the town and also organized Party Membership Programs. Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the party
• With a quote of “No Cause of Pollution”, He has taken an active interest in environmental protection by participating in the Haritha Haram Program. He declares that every house must have at least four trees and casts the plants in Hamlet.
• On focusing the improvement in cleanliness and hygiene in urban and rural areas, in workplaces and homes, Sathyanarayana Garu Conducted Swachh Bharat Program with the slogan “One step towards cleanliness.”
• Sathyanarayana actively participated in the Palle Pragathi program, which aims to improve rural sanitation and develop green cover.

Party Activities and Public Service Commitment

He has actively intervened in resolving numerous civic and welfare-related issues, including pensions, ration cards, health cards, birth certificates, death certificates, and Aadhaar-related grievances. By consistently raising his voice on behalf of the disadvantaged, he has helped many families gain access to essential benefits that improve their livelihoods and social security.

Pandemic Relief and Humanitarian Service

During the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, Akula Sathyanarayana Garu, popularly known as Chittibabu, emerged as a compassionate and courageous leader who stood firmly beside the people in their time of greatest need. At a time when fear and uncertainty gripped communities, he took immediate initiative to support families affected by the lockdown and economic hardship.

Understanding the severe impact of the lockdown on daily wage earners and vulnerable households, Sathyanarayana Garu distributed 5 kilograms of rice and essential vegetables to nearly 300 families in the village while strictly adhering to safety precautions and public health guidelines. His timely intervention brought relief to many families struggling to secure basic necessities during the crisis.

He also arranged and distributed food packets to drivers, migrant laborers, and other workers whose livelihoods had been disrupted due to the lockdown restrictions. By identifying the needs of the most affected sections of society, he ensured that no vulnerable group was left unsupported during this challenging period.

In addition to food assistance, Sathyanarayana Garu distributed masks, sanitizers, and essential supplies to poor families and extended financial aid to those facing severe hardship. Recognizing the importance of public awareness in controlling the spread of the virus, he organized awareness campaigns to educate villagers about social distancing, hygiene practices, mask usage, and precautionary measures to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

As part of village-wide sanitation efforts, he initiated the spraying of sodium hypochlorite solution throughout the locality to disinfect public spaces and reduce the risk of infection. This proactive measure contributed significantly to maintaining community safety and public confidence during the health emergency.

Throughout the pandemic period, Sathyanarayana Garu worked tirelessly day and night, remaining constantly available to the people, especially the poorest and most vulnerable residents in the area. His round-the-clock dedication reflected his deep sense of responsibility toward protecting lives and ensuring community well-being.

He also played a pivotal role in promoting vaccination awareness by encouraging villagers to receive COVID-19 vaccines and educating them about their importance. Under his guidance and initiatives, nearly 60% to 70% of the village population was successfully vaccinated, contributing to stronger public health protection within the community.

In one of the most difficult aspects of the pandemic, when fear prevented many from approaching families affected by COVID-related deaths, Sathyanarayana Garu displayed extraordinary humanity and courage by personally stepping forward to assist bereaved families. He ensured that funeral rites for deceased individuals were conducted respectfully and in accordance with their traditional customs, offering dignity to the departed and emotional support to grieving families.

Through his exemplary pandemic service, Akula Sathyanarayana Garu demonstrated rare compassion, fearless leadership, and unwavering dedication to humanity, earning deep respect and gratitude from the people he selflessly served.
