Kakarla Charan Kumar Reddy

Kakarla Charan Kumar Reddy is the Vice Sarpanch of Kongalaveedu village, Badvel Mandal, and Mandal President of Student Union from the YSRCP. He was born on 03-07-1997 to Chenna Krishna Reddy and Lakshmi Devi.

Education Background

In 2012, Charan completed his schooling at Fathima high school and completed Intermediate from Vishwasai junior college, Nellore. He received a Diploma in Airline at Skanda aviation academy, Bangalore.

Political Career

In 2016, Charan started his political journey with the YSRCP in the same year he appointed as Mandal President of Student Union, Badvel from the YSRCP, and currently working in the position till now. Charan contested as elected as Ward Member of 1st ward, Kongalaveedu. Charan becomes the Vice Sarpanch of Kongalaveedu.

Charan selected as AP Reddy Community District Youth & Student’s Wing President of Student Youth.

• Charan always took initiation on student’s issues and make them solved.
• He cleared fee reimbursement issues, hostel, food issues, faced by the students.
• Gave financial assistance to poor students.
• He has been providing stationery things, Exams pads, plates to the students every year.
• Conducts awareness programs on Education, how to secure a good score.
• Provided free coaching to the unemployed youth.
• Charan will hold dharnas and rasta roko to protest against any injustice done to the students and bring justice to them.
• Charan demanded that the government issue notifications quickly and protect the unemployed from suicide.

Service During Pandemic Covid-19

• Charan served in the Pandemic time also. He provided essential commodities to the village people in the Covid-19 lockdown time.
• Distributes Masks, Sanitizers, Rice, Vegetables to the poor people and to the Police, Municipal workers who worked a lot in the Pandemic time.
• Provided free food service to the poor people.
• Gave awareness on how to maintain social distance, precautions to prevent Covid-19.
• Gave financial assistance to the Covid-19 victims.
