Ganganari Lavanya Shashidhar Reddy

I am G. Shashidhar Reddy, serving the people of Ameenpur with unwavering commitment and integrity. Born in Ramadugu village of Medak district to Mallareddy and Balamani, I was raised with strong values of service and perseverance. My educational journey from ZPHS Narsingi to ITI at Sangareddy, followed by apprenticeship and service at BHL, shaped my disciplined approach to public life. In 2011, I began my political journey with the Indian National Congress, dedicating myself as an active member to grassroots development. My family remains my strength, and my wife, Ganganari Lavanya Shashidhar Reddy, proudly serves as the 13th Ward Councillor, reflecting our shared commitment to public service. Through collective efforts, I have had the honor of being elected as the Municipal President of Ameenpur.I firmly believe that leadership must be rooted in transparency, accountability, and compassion. From strengthening civic infrastructure to supporting vulnerable communities during challenging times, service has always been my foremost priority. Every initiative I undertake is guided by the vision of inclusive growth and sustainable urban development. With the continued trust of the people, I remain devoted to building a progressive, self-reliant, and vibrant Ameenpur for future generations.

Early Life and Education:

G. Shashidhar Reddy was born on 02-04-1979 to Mallareddy and Balamani in Ramadugu Village of Medak district.  He completed his SSC in 1996 from ZPHS, Narsingi. In 1998, he finished his ITI from Government Junior College, Sangareddy. Later, he completed his apprenticeship at BHL in Hyderabad and worked there, gaining valuable professional experience.In 2005, he married Ganganari Lavanya Shashidhar Reddy. They are blessed with two children, Sai Vignesh and Sai Raksha. His family has been a strong support in his journey of public service and leadership.

Political Journey

In 2011, he began his political career with the Indian National Congress and served as an active member of the party. With dedication and commitment, he worked closely with the people at the grassroots level. His wife, Lavanya, was elected as the 13th Ward Councillor of Ameenpur, Patancheru, representing the Congress Party.

Leadership and Public Service

G. Shashidhar Reddy was later elected as the Municipal President of Ameenpur representing the Indian National Congress. His election was an important achievement for the party at the municipal level. Party leaders and supporters congratulated him and expressed confidence in his leadership abilities. He has promised to focus on public welfare, transparent governance, and the overall development of the municipality.

Service During COVID-19 Pandemic

G. Shashidhar Reddy distributed essential kits, masks, and sanitizers to villagers during the COVID-19 lockdown.

• He provided food and vegetables to poor families who were facing difficulties during the lockdown period.
• Safety kits were donated to frontline workers in the village.
• Awareness programs were conducted to educate people about social distancing and safety measures.
• The entire village was sanitized by spraying sodium hypochlorite solution.

Village Development Activities

• Several CC roads were constructed to improve transportation facilities.
• Drainage systems were developed to solve water stagnation problems.
• New street lights were installed in different areas of the village.
• Drinking water-related issues were addressed for the benefit of residents.
• One hundred percent nail hole formation work was completed as part of development initiatives.

Sanitation and Welfare Measures

• Wet and dry waste bins were distributed to households.
• Awareness was created among residents about waste segregation and cleanliness.
• Toilet facilities were improved in schools and Anganwadi centers.
• Kalyana Lakshmi cheques were distributed to eligible beneficiaries.

Contributions by Ward Councillor

• Ganganari Lavanya Shashidhar Reddy, 13th Ward Councillor of Ameenpur, initiated the construction of a 200-meter CC road at SLN Homes.
• The project was completed with equal contribution from the Councillor’s personal funds and the Colony Society funds, fulfilling an election promise.
