Kothagolla Surakanna

Kothagolla Surakanna is the YSRCP Leader in Mamillapalle. He was born on 01-01-1950 to Kothagolla Chinna Surakanna in Mamillapalle village of Peapally Mandal, Kurnool Dist. In 1985, He has completed SSC Standard from the ZPHS at Mamillapalle. He Basically hails from an Agriculture family. In 1990, Surakanna was married to Nagalaxmi.

In 2000, He Started his political journey with the Telugu Desam Party(TDP). He was in favor of the people from the TDP party. Subsequently, he joined the Indian National Congress Party(INC) in 2005. He was in favor of the people from the Congress party.

He was giving houses to the poor people and eligible people in Mamilla village. He was handed over the houses to 40 families. He was handing out passbooks to the poor people and eligible people in Mamilla village. He has done development activities for the Congress Party.

In 2014, He joined the YSRCP under the auspices of Buggana Rajendranath and he was the Active Member of YSRCP. He is in favor of the people and farmers who are in the YSRCP. He is the YSRCP Leader in Mamillapalle.

Recent Activities

• He involves in many of the social activities like Swachh Bharath Programs & helping poor people in his village, and development activities like CC Roads, Drainage, Street lights, and Water Problems in his village.
• He has cleared the issues of Pensions, Housing schemes, and Ration card.
• Donated Safety kits to frontline workers in the village.
• Street lights were set up.
• Some roads were paved in the village.
• Distributed Essential Needs in Pandemic COVID-19 time.
• Awareness was created on how to practice social distance.
• The complete village was sprayed with sodium hypochlorite solution.
• Some roads were paved in the village.
