I am Sanjeev Naik, born on June 6, 1980, in the tranquil village of Nacharam, Malkajgiri District, Telangana, to my revered parents, Shri Bhukya Saidulu Naik and Smt. Bhukya Lakshmi, whose wisdom shaped my early years. Rooted in a rich rural heritage, I embraced a relentless passion to uplift the Banjara community, a journey marked by struggles against systemic neglect and marginalisation. My academic path, from Zilla Parishad High School to a Bachelor of Arts and LLB in Hyderabad, equipped me with the tools to fight for their rights, beginning with my early roles in PDSU and Girijana Vidhyardhi Sangham.

In 2014, I founded Sevalalsena, driven by a vision to empower Banjaras, a mission that led me to revive traditions like the Teej festival and champion the legacy of Sevalal Maharaj with the slogan “Jai Sevalal.” My political journey, starting with TDP in 2006 and later BRS in 2019, reflects my resolve to secure land titles and reservations, including the 2022 Go No 33, through padayatras, Mahadharna, and even self-immolation for Thandala Gram Panchayats. I organized meetings and protests, integrating SC, ST, BC, and minorities into the Telangana Movement from 2011 to 2014, facing arrests, and leading events like Million March and Rasta Roko.

During COVID-19, I distributed groceries, sanitised Nacharam, and provided remedy tablets, standing as a pillar for the needy. I brought back Telangana employees and secured jobs for 2012 DSC candidates while delivering double-bedroom houses to Banjara children in Hyderabad. My struggles—against land alienation, for tribal education, and for tribal welfare—define my service. This platform embodies my pledge to uplift the Banjaras and all of Telangana’s marginalised, inviting you to join this noble pursuit for a just and prosperous future.

Sanjeev Naik was born on June 6, 1980, to Shri Bhukya Saidulu Naik and Smt. Bhukya Lakshmi, in the serene village of Nacharam within the Malkajgiri District of Telangana. Sanjeev Naik’s Visionary Leadership: Empowering Tribals and Telangana

• In the United States of Telangana, the tribal community constitutes approximately 6% of the population, yet following the establishment of the Telangana government, there is a pressing call to enhance their representation with an additional 10% reservation, building on their existing 10% quota. Sanjeev Naik, the visionary leader who secured this reservation through the landmark 2022 Go No 33, has spearheaded a robust campaign as the founding president of the GRSS Tribal Reservation Sadhana Samiti in Sevalal. His efforts include organizing a grand Mahadharna at Indira Park, hosting district-level conferences, initiating protests before the District Collectorate, and leading demonstrations alongside tribal members, reflecting his unwavering commitment to their cause.
• Sanjeev Naik undertook an extensive padayatra, traversing various locations to passionately advocate for the allocation of land titles (Podu Bhoomulu) to tribals cultivating fallow lands, demonstrating his relentless commitment. His persistent efforts bore fruit, as the Telangana government, along with the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh administration, recognized his cause and granted the much-needed land titles to the tribal community. This achievement stands as a testament to his dedication to securing justice and land rights for the marginalized.
• Sanjeev Naik played a key role in making the birth anniversary of Banjara national guru Sri Santha Sri Sevalal Maharaj the first official celebration in the State of Telangana.
• Shri Sanjeeva Nayak, a revered leader, has diligently shared the inspiring life story and monumental contributions of Sevalal Maharaj to the nation with a global audience. Through his efforts, he has illuminated the profound greatness of this iconic figure, fostering widespread admiration and recognition for Sevalal Maharaj’s legacy. His advocacy underscores a deep commitment to preserving and celebrating this cultural heritage.
• As a result, the nation embraced the powerful slogan “Jai Sevalal,” reflecting a unified tribute to his legacy. Shri Sanjeeva Nayak played a key role in ensuring that this slogan became a heartfelt part of every Banjara greeting, spreading its message of pride and unity across the community.
• The Teej festival, which is usually overlooked by the Banjara community, was celebrated with much enthusiasm and grandeur on the Hyderabad Tank Bund, attended by thousands. Bhukya Sanjeev Naik, the founding president of Sevalal Sena, played a key role in reviving this tradition and gaining it recognition throughout the country.
• Sanjeev Nayak dedicated his efforts to integrating Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC), and minority communities into the Telangana movement, fostering a broad-based coalition for the cause. • During the height of the Telangana movement, Sanjeev Naik convened a meeting at Ambedkar Bhavan in Guntur with Sambasiva Rao, the movement’s leader, to discuss the development of small states, the upliftment of BC, ST, SC, and minority castes, and to educate the public on the necessity of Telangana.
• Sanjeeva Nayak has facilitated the allocation of double-bedroom houses to Banjara children residing in the slums and impoverished areas of Hyderabad city through the initiatives of the Telangana government.
• As candidates selected through the 2012 DSC struggled on the streets, Sanjeev Nayak valiantly confronted the government, securing employment opportunities for them.
• Sanjeeva Nayak brought back to Telangana the Telangana employees working in the seven mandals that were merged into Andhra Pradesh after the formation of Telangana state.

  Recognizing the urgent need to prevent the spread of the virus, Sanjeev Naik took proactive measures by overseeing the large-scale spraying of sanitization and sodium hypochlorite bleach solution throughout the Nacharam.
