Balskuri Srinivas

 

Balskuri Srinivas is an Indian politician belonging to the Congress party. He is a prominent Congress leader with plenty of experience in the Political field. He is currently serving as the Warangal District Vice President from the state of Telangana. Srinivas’s leadership impact on the people is immeasurable. He is a politician who began his political career as a Leader and quickly rose to prominence as a leader by serving the people.

Early Life and Education:

On 02nd February 1975, Srinivas was born in Hasanparthi. His parents were Sammaiah and Vanamala.

In 1991, Srinivas completed his Board of Secondary Education at Zilla Parishad high school, located at Hasanparthi. From 1991-1993, he obtained his Intermediate at Shanthi junior college, Vijayawada. Srinivas graduated with a degree from Masterji degree college, Warangal.

A career in Politics:

From an early age, Srinivas had a sense of service and a determination to serve the people politically. In 1996, He officially entered into Politics and started his Political Journey with the Indian National Congress(INC) party.

He was chosen as an Active Leader by the authorities who recognized his ability to support the people in all possible ways at any given time as a social worker and party worker. He was recognized as a key strategist for being instrumental in successfully working as a party activist.

In 2001, Srinivas was contested and elected as Ward Member of Hasanparthi. In his role as a Ward Member, Srinivas got to know the residents more and helped them with their concerns.

Srinivas was elected and served as Village President from Hasanparthi. He is credited with successfully fulfilling his responsibilities as the village president in a way that people believe.

Srinivas has been successful in solving people’s problems in his political career. The people of Hasanparthi considered the Srinivas regime to be the Leadership of the people. Many welfare activities have been implemented during his reign.

He was appointed District Youth Congress Secretary by party leaders in honor of his consistent work and unwavering commitment. During his tenure as secretary, he grew more involved in politics and has always sought the welfare of the people.

The people of Hasanparthi chose Srinivas as Vice Sarpanch with the belief that he would continue his services as usual. He effectively served in the position from 2005-2010. Since 2013, Srinivas has been the Chairman of all the temples in all of Warangal district’s constituencies.

He is an active leader who constantly brings public issues to the attention of authorities and makes them solved. Srinivas has strengthened the Party at the field level.

Later on, in 2019 Srinivas was elevated to the President of Hasanparthi 66th Division.

Srinivas became Warangal District Vice President and was currently serving in the position. On the occasion of his appointment as District Vice President, Srinivas said that he would work to the best of his ability with the aim of Congress Party victory and swore that he would move forward with the aim of the party’s welfare. He extended his heartiest congratulations to the party officials for electing him.

Telangana Movement:

The Telangana Movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. The new state corresponds to the Telugu-speaking portions of the erstwhile princely state of Hyderabad. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state. On 07 February 2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most long-lasting movements in South India.

Srinivas played an active role during the late 2000s Telangana Separate State Movement spearheaded by now-CM, K.Chandrashekar Rao. He participated in Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta Varpu, dharnas, rasta rokos, protest programs, and rallies as part of the Telangana Movement. He even went to jail during the agitation.

Balsukuri Srinivas of Hassanparthi has been appointed as the Joint Secretary of the DCC, said district Congress committee chairman Naini Rajender Reddy. Balsukuri Srinivas served effectively in various designations such as Deputy Sarpanch of Major Gram Panchayat Hasanparthi, Chairman of Erragattu Temple, District Youth Congress Secretary, and Grama Party President. He thanked former MLA Kondetti Sridhar, former government chief whip Venkata Ramana Reddy and PCC chairman Lakshma Reddy for their support in his appointment.

Srinivas’s  Service being  Social  Activist:

• Being a responsible leader Srinivas even served as Social Activist in Hasanparthi village. He gave his helping hand in his unique ways.
• He conducts awareness of voting by telling that Exercising the right to vote is one of the most important duties of a citizen in a democracy. He motivates people by saying such things.
• Srinivas protests and holds dharnas against the decisions taken by the government against the people and seeks justice for the people.
• He fought and solved the issues like pensions, Ration cards, Health cards, and also the issues relating to Aadhar cards.
• Gave financial assistance to the poor, disabled, poor students, and widows according to the situation.
• Srinivas provided Books, Pads, and Stationery things to the Students and motivates them to score high marks.
• With the intention of no student can illiterate due to lack of money he provided financial support to the poor people in the village and also donated a certain amount to the merit students for their higher education.

Srinivas’s Contribution to the Public During the Pandemic:

• He provided financial and humanitarian support to those who were impacted by the lockdown during the first and second waves of Corona.
• During the crisis, he responded with compassion, aiding people who were in distress and offering further assistance to those who were harmed by the locking down.
• Srinivas came forward to assist people who had been affected by the lockdown by giving vegetables and fruits to villages, the homeless, and Municipality employees while following the procedures in place and distributing Covid Kits to the members who were afflicted with the appropriate sickness while in their home quartine.
• An awareness demonstration was performed to raise awareness about social distance and the need of taking precautionary steps in an attempt to eliminate the Corona Epidemic from occurring.
• When the coronavirus was finally exterminated, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed across the whole village to ensure that the villagers were not exposed to any harmful effects.
• The Covid Immunization Drive was organized in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea order to increase awareness among the general population about the need of acquiring a free corona vaccination.
